July 2022 Candidate Forum

CNCN and the Palm Harbor Chamber of Commerce jointly sponsored a candidate forum for candidates seeking election to various county and school board offices on July 18th for the election on August 23rd.  Even though Florida is a closed primary state, because there are no others filed to run for FL House District 57 and County Commission District 4 in the general election in November, all voters, no matter their party affiliation, will have an opportunity to vote for these two races on August 23rd.

Six candidates spoke at the forum before an audience of interested voters:

• Brian Scott, Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, District 2,
• Debbie Buschman, Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, District 2,
• Dave Eggers, Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, District 4,
• Heather Vernillo, Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners, District 4
